Design Objective: Create a public service announcement about police accountability.
Design Notes:
We collaborated with Witness to create a public service announcement about how to correctly record police activity on your phone.
This is a critically important issue and was created in early June 2020 to support the Black Lives Matter protestors.
In this first draft we toyed with the "If you see something say something" slogan.
Witness helped us correct this design—phones need to be held horizontally and include some important details. It was also important to specify what to record, not just everything in sight.
In the final version we added more specific details about the recording process. It was broadcast on digital billboards around the city.
